Astros Pause Rays’ Pennant Clinch with 4-3 W

Well we will have to wait another 24 hours as the Houston Astros have defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 on Wednesday Night at Petco Park in San Diego.

Despite doing everything right for the most part the Rays still couldn’t get it done in Game 4 as the Astros get the beat of Ace Tyler Glasnow, as both George Springer and José Altuve both go yard on Glasnow to boost the Astros.

Randy Arozarena continued to be the breakout star in the postseason, launching his fifth home run in 11 games, a two-run shot to tie the score at 2 in the fourth inning against Greinke. Arozarena’s homer is all the Rays had to show for offensively until Willy Adames’ two-out RBI double in the ninth to cut the deficit to one run.

Manuel Margot & Austin Meadows hit one-out singles off Greinke, setting up for Arozarena to break out who earlier blasts a two run HR and give the Rays a chance to come back but for seemingly the first time this postseason, Arozarena struck out blowing the chance,  After allowing an infield single to Ji-Man Choi, Greinke was able to get out of the jam by striking out Mike Brosseau, leaving the bases loaded
