Bucs Update: Evans & Godwin at Practice, Vea on IR

On Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the expected move of placing defensive lineman Vita Vea on injured reserve due to the broken leg he suffered in last Thursday’s game at Chicago. Vea’s season ends after five games, 10 tackles, 2.0 sacks, three tackles for loss and three quarterback hits.

Vea was a big part in the leagues number one running defense and now looks like we’re just going to have to wait and see what DC Todd Bowles does to fill that gap on the Defensive Line.

RBs LeSean McCoy, Leonard Fournette, WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, WR Justin Watson and WR John Hurst (who was on IR) have returned to practice today as confirmed by Tampa Bay Times writer Rick Stroud, looks like QB Tom Brady could have his complete weapons minus TE OJ Howard who’s done for the season as well, for Sunday’s 4:25pm game against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers
